Gabriel is a budding entrepreneur and is looking to build a series of businesses that can mutually benefit each other. His plan is to open a fine dining restaurant with a specialty wine shop next door, allowing customers to purchase a bottle to be consumed in the restaurant. The benefit of such a set-up is that the restaurant will not need a public house license as it’s a BYO (bring your own liquor) outlet. It is a win-win situation for him.
If he can find the right location, he is also looking to set up a shop selling high end BBQ grilles, surmising that it would appeal to the same demographic of the other two shops. However, he has not had much luck finding the right locations until a real estate agent friend pointed him in the direction of edumetro. A mixed-integrated development in USJ 1, Subang Jaya, by the public listed entity HCK Capital Group (HCK).
Gabriel’s interest was certainly piqued, especially when he heard that certain units would be F&B-ready. These selected units would feature the necessary exhaust and drainage systems as required by the municipal authorities for restaurants. Having these items in place would represent massive savings for Gabriel, which was important given he is looking to launch three businesses simultaneously.
The fact that edumetro was in a mature and well-heeled area also appealed to Gabriel as it was the sort of demographic for his business ventures. Impressed by what he saw, Gabriel instructed his real estate agent friend to find three units to house his new business ventures.
