Last Saturday brought much joy and pride to the teachers and students at Peninsula International School Australia’s Malaysia campus.
The school bagged five awards at the Malaysia Gold Awards Ceremony this year, which took place at the HXC Grand Ballroom, Pudu Integrated Commercial Complex (ICC).
This award ceremony was a part of the Asia Pacific International Arts Festival Music and Talents Competition 2021.
Primary teacher Tifu McGregor was awarded ‘Malaysia Outstanding Teacher 2021’, and piano teacher Ruth also received an award along with her Year 2 student Freya Yong, who was recognised and awarded for ‘Outstanding Piano Playing’.
Freya’s brother Elmer Yong was awarded as one of the ‘Top 10 Public Speakers of Malaysia’ upon his successful participation in the state-level Public Speaking contest.
Last but not least, Peninsula as a school topped it off by winning the Malaysia Outstanding School Award.
