Peninsula International School Australia (PISA) recently has welcomed Mr. Guy Cassarchis as its newly-appointed Principal. Guy brings with him a wealth of experience in the education sector, with over 32 years of experience as an Australian-qualified and Victorian-registered teacher and school leader, both within Australia and internationally.
Guy has held the role of International School Principal within Malaysia from 2015 to 2017 and then again from 2018 to 2020. Prior to moving back to Kuala Lumpur in December 2018, Guy has been the CEO/Headmaster at Grange School in Ikeja, Lagos which has been ranked in the top 100 International Cambridge Schools in the world. During his time at Grange School, he has set up the Grange Football Academy that is linked to the English Premier League.
Whilst in Malaysia, the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) has requested that Guy provides a variety of lectures and workshops for teachers, students and parents on being 21st century learners, as well as how to be an engaging 21st century teacher and parent. Guy has also been appointed as the keynote speaker for the inaugural Malaysian MOE International & Private School Forum in early 2020.
With wide-ranging experience, Guy aspires to bring wider perspectives and provide a stimulating educational environment for his students. As a school leader with a clear vision, Guy’s enthusiasm in raising the bar of PISA is apparent as Guy has genuine interest in the students, staff and wider community in every project that he gets involved in.
