Education link matters

Edumetro sales gallery was a popular destination over the weekend with property buyers responding positively to news of SEGi’s impending presence in the development.

The Edumetro project in Subang Jaya saw bumper crowds at its sales gallery last weekend with keen interest being drummed up by the official announcement that SEGi College (SEGi) will be part of the development.

This is very much part of HCK Capital Group’s (HCK) Educities concept whereby its property developments are anchored by an education component. Although the Edumetro project is already boosted by its prime location in the mature and affluent neighbourhood of USJ Subang Jaya, news of SEGi’s presence still carried significant weight among property buyers.

This was confirmed by Wendy Cheow, HCK’s Marketing Director, who oversaw the bumper crowds at the sales gallery over the weekend. “A quick survey among the many visitors confirmed that they were attracted by the SEGi link,” she says. “Having such an established education institution on board definitely boosts the sustainability of their investment as SEGi will ensure heavy footfall in the development.”

Cheow also states that Edumetro’s central location within USJ also makes it extremely attractive to students from the many universities and colleges in the area. “We certainly hosted many parents of varsity-going kids who are thinking of buying so their kids will have a safe, secure and convenient home to ‘Stay. Sudy. Shop’. The unique and flexible designs of our suites also make them ideal for these young adults to stay after graduation as they enter the working world,” she further emphasises.

Much of the enquiries centred on the new Duo Suites which offer separate dual entrances. Allowing for co-sharing of space and utilities, it makes for an ideal office, study or lifestyle suites. Privacy and cost-efficiency are the Duo’s key USPs which seem to appeal to many of the visitors at the sales galleries.

The other offerings at Edumetro include the Colonial LoSo Suites. These ‘Lifestyle office, Small Office’ suites are designed with the young, working professional in mind with an emphasis on convenience and flexibility. The space can be easily customised to suit Individual needs. The affordability of these units have also meant they are viewed as an extremely attractive proposition for those who want a USJ address.

The Lakeview Suites have almost been completely snapped up with weekend visitors deciding on which of the remaining units to plump for.
