HCK Receives Bronze GreenRE Certification

HCK’s edumetro development has been awarded the GreenRE Bronze Certification under the Non-Residential Building category.

This green certification is in line with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the World Green Council’s commitment towards achieving a net zero future – where there is a balance of the amount of greenhouse gas produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere.

Green buildings are becoming more in demand today as it has been quantified that buildings and the construction sector is a key factor in alleviating climate change.

With the constant influx of new developments in Malaysia, taking the initiative to build more sustainable structures will not only help to reduce the global CO2 emission, but will have a significant impact on the wellbeing of Mother Earth.

As a GreenRE certified development, edumetro will be a catalyst in leading others to save energy, water, and reduce carbon emissions. It will also educate the nation and the world on the importance of caring for the Earth when designing and building new structures.
