PISA Emerges As Champion In ISSAM Basketball Match

Peninsula International School Australia (PISA) basketball team emerged as Champion in ISSAM Basketball Friendly Match 2019 organised by Japanese School Kuala Lumpur on November 16.

It was an exciting day of Basketball in which the skills of PISA students were exhibited. A total of 8 schools participated in this tournament in boy’s category. The performance of PISA’s basketball team on the court exceeded some expectations. It was a closely fought competition wherein each school put in their best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out in the courts.

Overall the performance of the team was amazing and students were able to gain valuable experience. The students have shown good game and sportsmanship. Their performance on the court exceeded some expectations and they were rewarded for their excellent enthusiasm. 

The tournament also witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. It was a closely fought competition wherein each school put in their best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out in the courts. 

Sport is an integral part of life at PISA and we look forward to taking part in more tournaments and practice matches in the future so that we can develop the students match confidence. Listed below are names of the Boys’ team & result of the game:

PISA vs Regent International School (Klang): 26-4 points 
PISA vs Regent International School (Puchong): 16-7 points 
PISA vs Sayfol International School (Team B): 24-9 points 
PISA vs Cempaka International School: 29-2 points
