The Peninsula International School Australia, a collaboration between the HCK Group and Peninsula Grammar in Melbourne was recently opened. The event was graced by Deputy Commissioner for Victoria to South East Asia, Ms Amelia Fyfield and Peninsula Grammar of Melbourne principal Stuart Johnston.
The event was held at the School’s auditorium in Setia Alam and was attended by over 200 including guests, the school’s staff and students. The primary and secondary School is part of a 12-acre mixed development, the edusentral, which is also developed by the HCK Group. The institution is the first of HCK Group’s international schools to open under the Peninsula branding.
The School has a capacity of 2,000 students and boasts of state-of-the-art facilities like science laboratories, music room and a modern library. It also has a pool, an indoor sports hall, two outdoor courts, one football field and an auditorium that can seat 450 pax.
In congratulating the movers of the Peninsula offshore campus, Peninsula Grammar Principal, Mr Stuart Johnston said: “This is the most exciting international partnership in our school’s history and is based on a shared commitment to excellence in education and the necessity to prepare our students for a global society, more interconnected than ever before.”
