The Peninsula International School Australia may be a new kid on the block. But that didn’t stop the students there from making waves in education circles.
Recently, the school’s Poetry Team clinched 3rd place in the Group Category at the Poetry Cafe KL competition. Jia Jia, Zahra, Mia, Marcus and Fiaz went into this competition with a great attitude. They made friends from other schools, practiced in the hallways with them, listened to feedback from peers and went to this competition with the intent to learn about this new craft.
Their energy was infectious and even the judges told the teachers that they were inspired by the participants’ talent and positivity. Not bad for a school that just got off the starting block recently. Congratulations all around!
