Focus Marketing Technologies (FMT) recently held a Facebook marketing workshop, the second of its Focus Exchange Accelerator series, after its inaugural one in July. The day-long workshop was attended by marketers and brand managers from diverse industries, seeking to tap into the immense potential the social media offers.
The workshop was conducted by Fabian Khaw and Ridzwan Arifin, both experts in their respective fields. Khaw, a social media specialist from the 8MAD Group had helped many companies to improve their market positioning. Ridzwan is iGAR Tracker Product Manager with FMT and has wide experience in digital marketing.
Participants learnt about fundamental Facebook marketing principles; “dirty” secrets about Facebook and how to generate leads and create conversations, among others. They were also given a “live” demo on the iGAR Tracker. iGAR Tracker is a social listening tool that track results and mentions from over 257 countries worldwide - from more than 150 million websites and 850,000 news sites. It allows subscribers to track reviews, likes, dislikes, comments and criticisms in real-time.
FMT is a marketing services company under the HCK Group that offers integrated online and offline solutions. It has also built a reputation hosting events related to fintech, start-ups and digital marketing.
